UAE E-Invoicing for Epicor Kinetic and Prophet 21

TrustBill adds UAE e-invoicing transmission to Epicor without replacing your ERP. Our connector reads invoice, credit note and master data from Epicor Kinetic and Prophet 21, converts to PINT-AE XML, validates FTA rules, and submits through an accredited ASP.

How TrustBill integrates with Epicor

Epicor Kinetic and Prophet 21 do not include a native Peppol/FTA submission module for UAE e-invoicing. TrustBill bridges this gap with a connector that sits alongside your ERP.

It extracts invoice headers, line items, customers, suppliers, tax and UOM master data through REST/OData or direct database access, maps the data to the PINT-AE XML schema, runs FTA validation, and submits through an MoF-accredited ASP. Statuses and QR references are written back to Epicor so your finance team stays in one system.

PINT-AE compliance for Epicor invoices

UAE e-invoicing uses PINT-AE, a Peppol-based XML format with 51+ mandatory fields. TrustBill converts Epicor invoice and credit note data into valid PINT-AE, handling the invoice UUID, issue date, seller/buyer TRN, VAT category codes, unit codes, tax totals, and UAE-specific extensions such as free-zone and margin-scheme indicators.

We keep the mapping aligned with Peppol AE v1.0.2 and the latest FTA guidance, and re-validate the schema whenever the UAE specifications are updated.

Implementation and go-live timeline

A typical Epicor e-invoicing project takes 4–6 weeks for a large manufacturer or distributor:

1. Discovery and master-data review β€” TRN, tax codes, UOM, customer/supplier identifiers, and warehouse/free-zone setup.

2. Connector installation β€” Deploy TrustBill's scoped connector against Epicor's REST API, OData services or database layer.

3. Mapping and validation β€” Map Epicor fields to PINT-AE, configure error rules, and run sample invoices and credit notes.

4. UAT and ASP onboarding β€” Connect the accredited ASP, submit test invoices, and obtain acceptance.

5. Go-live β€” Cutover to live submission before your mandatory phase: 1 Jan 2027 for large businesses, 1 Jul 2027 for SMEs.

Manufacturing and distribution use cases

Epicor is widely used by industrial, trading and distribution businesses in the UAE. TrustBill supports common scenarios including make-to-order and make-to-stock manufacturers invoicing local and GCC customers, trading and distribution companies with high invoice volumes and multiple warehouses, multi-entity groups that need consolidated e-invoicing across Epicor sites, and credit notes and debit notes for returns, discounts and corrections.

B2B and B2G invoices are routed through Peppol and reported to the FTA in near real time.

Security, hosting and data residency

TrustBill uses read-only or scoped access to Epicor, with credentials limited to the minimum permissions needed. All data in transit uses TLS 1.3 and data at rest is encrypted.

Our connector can run inside your network, on a managed VPC or in the cloud, and invoice data is stored in the UAE (AWS me-central-1) to meet residency expectations. No invoice data leaves the region unless you choose a different deployment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Epicor products are supported?

TrustBill supports Epicor Kinetic (cloud and on-premise) and Epicor Prophet 21. We can also adapt the connector for Epicor ERP / Epicor Financials where the schema is similar. Contact us if you run a different Epicor product.

Is Epicor ready for UAE e-invoicing natively?

Epicor has UAE Country Specific Functionality for VAT, FTA Audit File and tax invoice formatting, but it does not include native Peppol/FTA e-invoice transmission. You need an accredited ASP and a connector like TrustBill to submit PINT-AE invoices.

How long does setup take?

Most Epicor integrations take 4–6 weeks, depending on master-data quality, the number of document types, and testing requirements. Large manufacturers should start by Q3 2026 to meet the 1 Jan 2027 deadline.

Does this work for manufacturing and trading companies?

Yes. Epicor is common in UAE manufacturing, industrial trading and distribution. TrustBill handles make-to-order, distributor, multi-entity and high-volume invoice flows, plus credit notes and corrections.

How is Epicor invoice data kept secure?

TrustBill uses read-only or scoped API/database access, TLS 1.3 in transit, encryption at rest, and UAE data residency. Credentials are stored encrypted and the connector can be deployed on your premises or in a managed cloud.
